What to Expect

After a lot of false starts, I’ve finally gotten around to getting my site online. Why, in 2025 would I decide to do this? For a start, with the political climate the way it is and what’s happening with various social media, I wanted a platform I could express myself on that was under my own control. No one edits my posts but me, baby! I intend to write about some of the various projects I’m working on, I’ll also write about my Ghostbusters adventures and whatever else might come to mind. My site, my thoughts.

So, a bit about me. I’m in my late 40s (yep, Gen X!) and for my day job I’m an IT professional focused on software support, software development and some server administration tasks. Basically an IT jack of all trades. I’m a father of an awesome 17 year old teen, and if you see my office or my car, you’ll instantly know I’m a Ghostbusters fanatic and cosplayer. I’ve been a computer geek for 40+ years at this point, getting my start on a Commodore VIC-20 and BASIC. My goal is to try to write here once a week about a particular topic., though you can also find my day-to-day thoughts (assuming I decide to share) over on my Bluesky account. Feel free to give me a follow there. I’m also aiming to get my streams going again, and maybe re-launch Youtube. We’ll see how it all goes.
